When Providing Us With Artwork
- Adobe PDF (select press Quality in your PDF print settings) this is our preferred and the most stable file format to receive your artwork.
We can also accept the following versions or earlier:
- Adobe InDesign CS2 with all fonts & links.
- Adobe Illustrator CS2 convert all font’s to outlines & all links.
- QuarkXpress 6.5 with all fonts & links.
- Adobe PageMaker 7 with all fonts & links.
- Adobe Photoshop CS2.
- CorelDraw 10 convert all fonts to curves.
- Publisher 2003, Word 2003, E xcel 2003 & Powerpoint 2003 with all fonts.
- Make sure that all files placed in InDesign & QuarkXpress all have the same spot colour names e.g. PANTONE 368 C or PANTONE 368 U.
- Please provide a 5 mm bleed around all sides of the finished size.
- Avoid placing text within 3 mm of the finished size.
- Avoid using borders within 3 mm of the finished size.
- Only provide the artwork one up and note that crop marks are necessary.
- Provide a print out (colour preferable) so we can check this against your file.
- We can not load your fonts on to our computers so please embed all fonts or turn to outline or curves. We will only use our fonts because of copyright laws.
Maximum file size emailed to us is 10 megabytes.
JPEG or TIFF files must be created at the finished size you want your document printed.
CMYK at 300 dots per inch. Greyscale at 200 dpi. Lineart at 1200 dpi. Web art is not suitable for high quality reproduction as it is created at only 72 dpi.
